HUMAN RESOURCES/RECRUITER/ADMIN - Responsible for daily and weekly HR functions to include applicant flow, newspaper ads, radio ads, job fairs and realted recruiting practices.  Ideal candidate would possess a high-school diploma with at least 5 years experience in HR/Personnel.  Experience in security helpful (JAPS. e-QIP)

GAS FREE RESOURCE MANAGER -  Candidate will be responsible for all gas, oil, oily water transfer operations at Colonna's Shipyard, Inc.  Candidate must be able to read and understand all applicable Code of Federal Regulations (CFR's), DEQ and EPA requirements.  Candidate will be responsible for the implementation and training concerning these policies.

HEAVY EQUIPMENT MECHANIC - Diagnose, adjust, repair or overhaul mobile mechanical, hydraulic and pnuematic equpment such as cranes, forklifts and graders used in marine construction and heavy fabrication.  Knowledge of gas, diesel and electric engines are preferred.

PIPE SHOP SUPERVISOR - 7-10 years exp. as Pipefitter.

PIPEFITTERS - 5+ years exp. Marine or industrial pipefitting. Blueprint reading, bending and tack welding expected. Superior experience level. 


WELDERS - 2nd class and above FCAW with ship repair experience, 1st and 2nd shift. NavSea 248 ABS certification. Certifications a plus.

PROJECT MANAGER - BS/A  TECH or MGMT, 5 years experience shipyard, Ship's Officer or large construction Project Manager, accounting, production, estimating, ACWP, BCWP, BCWS concepts.

NDT/QA INSPECTOR -Must be proficient as a Level II in at least 3 major methods. (VT, PT, MT or UT thickness) Must be a high school graduate or equivalent with related experience in NDT or has satisfactorily completed a Level II certification by examination.

STEEL FABRICATION WELDING SUPERVISOR- 12 years professional experience in heavy steel fabrication: welding/fitting experience, capable of writing and developing weld procedures,
knowledge of NDT and CWI helpful.

INSIDE MACHINIST – Journeyman level. Large pieces, manual operation and reverse engineering, some CNC, at least 5-7 yrs exp. Trainees (very good in MATH) will be considered.

FIELD / IN-PLACE MACHINIST – Inside machinist able to machine on site. Journeyman level
preferred.

SHIPFITTER/LAYOUT FABRICATOR/WELDERS – 1 st class with 7-10 yrs exp

WELDERS – FCAW ABS certification and 7-10 years experience.

STEEL FABRICATION PROJECT MANAGER – BS and 7-10 yrs professional experience in heavy steel fabrication; welding/fitting exp., take-offs, bid, proposals and contract exp. shall have a min. BS in Engineering

STEEL FABRICATION ESTIMATOR – 10+ Experience, weld/fit exp, take-offs, bid, proposals and contracts experience, shall have min BS in Engineering

MACHINE SHOP ESTIMATOR - 7-10 years professional exp in operation of machine Shop , material take-offs, preparing proposals and contract experience.  Shall have minumum of BS in Engineering-Large pieces, manual operation and reverse engineering. Some CNC knowledge helpful.

ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT - Experienced/Proficient in MS Office Package (with emphasis on Excel), familiar with answering phones and standard office work,  MS Project a plus.

DOWN RIVER SUPERVISOR - On site supervisor.  Responsible for the day to day function of multiple jobs at various sites.  Applicant must have 3-5 years experience.  Applicant must be able to obtain a Regional Contractor's Badge (mandatory).  Must have a driver's license.  DOD clearance a plus.
