NDT INSPECTOR
NDT Certifications preferred, in addition to ABS Surveys and Gauging experience. Applicant must have a thorough understanding of ASNT SNT-TC-1A Level II in VT, PT, MT, UT-shearwave processes with 3 years experience. NACE, AWS CWI or QA experience is a plus. A valid driver’s license, good driving record and ability to obtain a security clearance is required.

  PROJECT MANAGER - Managerial position requiring a professional with 10+ years exp. in the following: heavy industrial/marine fabrication construction (not constructing buildings), project management, planning, estimating, and contract negotiations. A working knowledge of AWS, AISC, and ASME code/certification requirements is preferred. 5+ years experience in project analysis, take-off, and estimating in industrial heavy fabrication projects.

ESTIMATOR- The successful candidate will possess 7 - 10 years of exp in estimating fabricated assemblies. Painting & Machine Shop exp a plus as well as knowledge of SSPC requirements. Knowledge of machining requirements, NAVSEA and NAVFAC preferred. Estimator will perform conceptual estimates at times when detailed design information is not available and solicit pricing from material vendors and subcontractors.

ESTIMATING MANAGER- Responsibilities include supervising the Estimating department by assigning projects as needed and monitoring day to day operations. Candidate must be able to estimate by analyzing blueprints, specifications, proposals, scope of work and other documentation in order to prepare time, cost, and labor estimates for fabrication projects The successful candidate will possess a minimum of 10 years of experience in management and/or fabrication. Project Management, Contract negotiation, p ainting and machine shop experience is a plus. Knowledge of NAVSEA, NAVFAC and SSPC requirements are preferred but not required.

WELDER/FABRICATOR- Qualified applicants will have at least 5 years of experience with lay-out, fitting and fabrication of structural steel. Job duties will include complete lay-out, fitting and fabrication of structural steel. Applicant must have steel experience. 1st and 2nd shift available

CRANE OPERATORS- 1 st Class with a minimum of three years experience with 60 ton cherry pickers, 60 ton link belts, and 11 ton gantry cranes. Previous exp. with heavy steel and an industrial setting preferred

INSIDE MACHINIST – Journeyman level. Large pieces, manual operation and reverse engineering, some CNC, minimum of 7 yrs experience. Trainees (very good in MATH) will be considered. Journeyman level preferred.

Duties to include monitoring procedures and production of the department’s workforce, completing projects to meet job schedules, and supervision.

700- TOOL REPAIR ASSOCIATE – Applicant will repair and maintain a variety of tools, as well as, receive, store, order and issue hand tools, machine tools, dyes, measuring devices and repair parts. Associate will keep records of tools issues to and returned by employees. Applicant will search for lost or misplaced tools, conduct periodic inventory and requisitions stock as needed. Applicant must have excellent oral and written communication skills. Knowledge with computer applications

700- PURCHASING AGENT- Agent will c oordinate activities involved with procuring goods and services, such as raw materials, equipment, tools, parts, supplies, and advertising, for establishment. Will confer with vendors to obtain product or service information, such as price, availability, and delivery schedule. A minimum of 5 years exp. in Marine Purchasing preferred, Hampton Roads vendor knowledge helpful
