425 WELDERS/FITTERS- Qualified applicants will have at least 5 years of experience with lay-out, fitting and fabrication of structural steel. Prefer applicant that has a heavy industrial steel background. Must be able to pass a D1.1 weld test, and capable of interpreting blue prints.
WELDING/STRUCTURAL LEAD MECHANIC SUPERVISOR (VT LEVEL II) – 5 or more years experience in welding and/or structural steel on navy vessels. Supervisory background preferred. ASNT level II Visual Inspector required. Able to coordinate and manage work of other welders, possess effective oral and written communication skills, and have basic computer knowledge (Microsoft Office). Job duties will include performing weld inspections, interfacing with the customer, coordinating work daily for 10-15 welders, and maintaining timesheet records of personnel. WELDERS - Certified TIG, MIG, Stick, and/or Fluxcore welders with ship repair experience. Current Secret a plus. 500 QC/NDT INSPECTOR - Must be NDT Level II ASNT in VT, PT, MT, UT, and EC. Prefer Level III qualifications. Navy ship repair industry experience required. Versed in Microsoft Office. 500 MATERIAL MANAGER- 5+ yrs experience in the steel industry with purchasing background. Knowledge of steel vendors and ASTM standards. Warehouse and inventory skills a plus. Proficient in Microsoft Office and Deltek Costpoint experience preferred. 425 CNC OPERATOR – (2nd shift) 2 or more years experience operating a plasma oxyfuel CNC machine. 200 ACCOUNTS PAYABLE – Candidate must have 5 or more year’s accounts payable experience working with approving and paying invoices through Deltek Costpoint.
406 PAINTING LEAD MECHANIC SUPERVISOR – C-7 Blaster, C-12 airless Spray, C-13 UHP waterjet, C-14 plural component, and NBPI qualifications preferred. Minimum 5 years experience in fast paced marine preservation industry as a supervisor.
408 OUTSIDE MACHINISTS- 5 years experience preferred. Must have knowledge of shaftings, wheels, pump overhauls, and alignments.
410 PIPEFITTER LEAD MECHANIC SUPERVISOR – Minimum of 10 years experience as a Pipefitter with previous supervisory responsibilities. Able to 410 PIPEFITTERS - 5 or more years experience in military shipyard repair work. Braizing certs are a plus.
411 LABORER –
Must have general shipyard knowledge, preferably with 1 or more year’s shipboard experience.
