The objective of this program is to allow selected new employees a broad understanding of Colonna’s Shipyard and its primary business of ship repair and Steel America’s heavy industrial fabrication during the first twelve months of employment. In order to accomplish this, each selected trainee will get the opportunity to spend time with the various divisions, departments and shops working on actual projects to gain an understanding of how our company operates. The ultimate goal is for these employees to be our future leaders and Managers.
-18 years of age or older
-Junior or 3rd year standing student (Internship Program)
-Degree in all areas of Business Management and Engineering
-Pass a physical examination completed by company physician
-Physically able to perform the essential duties of the assignments
