Meet our Senior Management:

  • Tom Godfrey
    President and CEO
    Joining Colonna’s in 1981, and President & CEO since 1993, Tom Godfrey is a marine industry executive with extensive experience in the transportation industry, as well as vessel operations and shipyard management. His business background includes construction, manufacturing and service industry experience with extensive knowledge in the areas of contracting, business development, operations, finance, project management, risk management, labor relations and strategic planning. Tom’s past industry leadership roles include Chairman of the Shipbuilders Council of America, Chairman of the Virginia Ship Repair Association and President, Virginia Maritime Association.
  • Jordan Webb
    Vice President – Shipyard Operations

    Following his graduation from Virginia Tech in 2008, Jordan began his career on the waterfront as a Ship Superintendent, before moving into Project Management and serving as Operations Manager at Steel America. His diverse background has prepared him for his current role with responsibility for Contracts oversight, Project Management, Estimating, Subcontracting, and Procurement for all divisions of Colonna’s.

  • Randall Crutchfield
    Vice President – Industrial Operations
    Randall Crutchfield is currently the Vice President of Industrial Operations and Facilities. He most recently served as Colonna’s Chief Experience Officer and Executive Director of Steel America and Weld America where he was responsible for customer experience throughout the lifecycle of interactions. Progressing to Vice President of Industrial Operations, Crutchfield is now responsible for all Colonna’s Shipyard Inc. fabrication and machining operations, including off-site welding, and machining, as well as capital project planning and execution. Previously, Crutchfield worked in various departments within Colonna’s Shipyard and its subsidiaries, including procurement, Down River operations, contracts, project management, and facilities, as well as estimating for Steel America.
  • Ken Mebane
    Vice President, Weld America
    Following a highly successful tenure leading Colonna’s Steel America division since its inception more than 20 years ago, Ken is now responsible for the startup of Colonna’s newest line of business, Weld America. Using state-of-the-art equipment to deliver value and service, Weld America will become the premier supplier of on-site welding services for complex, difficult welding operations. With Colonna’s for more than 40 years, Ken has extensive production and facility experience in shipyard operations and has worked diligently to improve productivity, employee morale, and expand the capabilities of the Colonna’s enterprise. www.WeldAmerica.com
  • Rebecca Wieters, CPA
    Vice President and CFO

    Rebecca was appointed CFO of Colonna’s Shipyard, Inc. in April 2012, and promoted to Vice President/CFO in 2017. Rebecca has more than twenty years of experience in financial planning, control, and management, and private accounting practice leadership experience. Her specializations include internal control and Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) compliance. Prior to joining CSI, she was the Operations Controller of AMSEC, LLC in Virginia Beach. Previously, Rebecca held positions as Controller at Dynamic Engineering and Assistant Controller at Industrial Marine Services. She is a graduate of the University of Virginia.

  • Bob Boyd
    Vice President, Strategic Growth and Development
    Bob joined the leadership team of Colonna’s in 2016. Previously, he enjoyed a 36 year career in banking, most recently as Hampton Roads Regional President for BB&T. His focus is pursuing the growth of the Colonna’s enterprise through continued efforts to expand the company’s diverse but complementary lines of business. Bob has been active in various business, community and charitable organizations including the Hampton Roads Economic Development Alliance, Hampton Roads Chamber of Commerce, United Way of South Hampton Roads, Virginia Arts Festival and the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
