Colonna’s Apprenticeship Program
Colonna’s Apprenticeship Program is a four-year program that combines classroom/college level instruction alongside on- the-job training under the guidance of experienced craftspeople. Over the course of the four years, apprentices will receive on-the-job training (OJT) and classroom instruction (RTI) while learning a skilled trade.
Compensation
Colonna’s Apprenticeship Program compensation is based on a graduated pay scale. Every six-months apprentices are evaluated on skill, performance, and grades to be eligible for the next scheduled pay increase.
Program Basic Qualifications
- United States Citizen
- 18 Years of Age or Older
- High School Diploma or GED
- Must be able to pass a Background Check
- Eligible to receive DBIDS (Naval Yard Access)
- Pass Drug Test and Physical
- Demonstrate a reasonable degree of mechanical, math and verbal aptitude
- Complete Application and required screening questions
